Pants

• Navy or black colored dress pants, skirts, or jumpers that are no more than two inches above the knee
• No jeans or denim pants are permitted
• Pants will be worn at or above the waistline
• Pant legs will be worn down at all times (no roll ups)
• Navy or black colored shorts on warm days are permitted
• Shorts should be no more than 2 inches above or below the knee

Shirts

• White or light blue colored shirts, polo or button down, with collars must be worn
• Sweaters/Vests may be worn. They are to be white, navy, or black and plain (no designs)
• Plain solid navy sweatshirts may be worn, no hoods or zippers
• Only solid white, navy, or black short sleeve T-shirts may be worn under the uniform shirt, sleeves must be shorter than the uniform shirt sleeves, No other colored t shirts are permitted
• Sweatshirts or sweaters with zippers or hoods are not permitted
• Shirts must be tucked in at all times

Shoes

• Must be all brown or all black with no logos visible (Example-Nike). Black dress shoes are preferred
• Shoes must have same color shoe laces in them at all times if holes are provided (Example-black shoes = black laces)
• No shoes or boots that come above the ankle or higher are permitted
• Heels no longer than 2 inches are permitted
• Boots may be worn to and from school

Belts

• If loops are provided, a belt must be worn
• Belts must be a dark blue, black or brown
• No ornamental belt buckles are permitted (ornamental will be defined by Administrative staff)
• Chains, key rings, or other items are not permitted to be hung from belt loops

Hats, caps, bandannas, scarves, and headbands - are to be removed upon entering the school building. If a student wears any of these items in the building they must surrender it to a staff member without argument

Jewelry

• Girls may wear one stud earring per ear. No hoop earrings
• A single necklace may be worn but must be tucked inside the uniform shirt
• A single wrist watch may be worn
• No rings or other jewelry is permitted
• No tattoos or body art is permitted

No gang related clothing or items are permitted on school grounds at any time

Dress down days - The Edge Academy does not participate in dress down days

The Edge Academy Administrative staff may add to or change the dress code at any time.
